Registration (think Certification) Steps

New official candidates need to register with the NCHSAA. Your $26 Lacrosse registration fee should be waived if this is the first time that you have registered with the NCHSAA in any sport, but you will still have to pay the $31.00 liability insurance fee, and complete the security check.
Register with DragonFly (NFHS center for officials’ services) which includes:
- Fees
- Background Check
- Concussion In Sports Seminar (every two years)
Attend new official’s 10-hr classroom orientation clinic (held well in advance of the season over two-days).
Attend six, weekly, local clinics in January/February.
Participate in three pre-season scrimmages.
Pass the on-line, open-book, NFHS rules test (score =>75%).
