Bull City All Stars: Cullen Classic for Cancer 
June 2017

The first annual Bull City All Star Game was held on the Duke campus at Koskinen Stadium on Saturday, June 3rd. Fifty four top players from throughout the state (Asheville to Topsail Beach) played in the Cullen Classic for Cancer. For more on Bull City All stars, click here.

NCHSAA / NFHS State Clinic Jan 2017

Over 100 TMLOA officials and Triangle NC area coaches participated in the annual state clinic at Cardinal Gibbons High School Auditorium in Raleigh, NC on January 29, 2017.

​

Topics included: focus for the 2017 season, NFHS rules changes, playoff seeding, new schools participating in men's lacrosse and introduction to the Bull City All Stars benefitting the Cullen Classic for Cancer.

​

John Clougherty, former NCAA basketball official (2,000 games, 12 final fours) and ACC Supervisor of Basketball Officials, gave the keynote address.

Mid-season Officials Clinic March 2017

TMLOA officials conducted our mid-season clinic to discuss performance, points of emphasis, and game management skills for the season to-date.

​

Distinguished service awards were presented to  TMLOA officials exemplifying outstanding achievement on and off the field.

​

Andy Gillis (top right) received the 2015 service award from Triangle Area Assignor Rick Wooten.

​

Michael "Spike" McLaughlin (bottom photo) received the 2016 service award.

UNC Winter Lax, Dec 2016

Boys teams from throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic participated in this winter play day.

This NCHSAA endowed scholarship provides college funding support for one senior male high school student athlete participating on a varsity level lacrosse team at a North Carolina High School Athletic Association member high school. Click here to learn more about the scholarship.
